was going through some of the pics that i had from the summer tour of 75 and was amazed at some of the pics athat harold newton took of this performance as well as some from shaver [from the 23rd] and so i went back and listened to some of the performances and just totally love the show from the 24th - it has to be one of the if not the best performance ever, lot of great additions and his mood is one of entertaining the fans to the best of his ability, i'm sure glad that someone decided to tape and share this with us , i;m hoping that ftd have all three of thesen in their possession.

If Ernst and FTD do have all 3 soundboards from the Ashville '75 shows, I'm sure we'll only be getting one of those released sad.gif

Can you imagine if they did have all 3, and released a 3 cd set of titled Ashville '75 or something along the lines. Now that would be to die for!!

Atleast we have audience recordings from all three shows. Two with really good sound.

I know Brad...and better to have at least audience recordings of these shows than have nothing. But, you just can't beat Soundboards IMO....as much as i do like some audience recordings....so we can continue to hope that FTD/BMG may suprise us. Lets face it...who saw Viva Las Vegas coming... undecided.gif

Thats true Chris!

All we can do is keep waiting and hope these soundboards (if they exist) get released.

Each of the Ashville '75 concerts was better than the one before. It's one of the very, very few times Elvis radiaclly changed the setlist for each show when performing multiple shows in a row in a city. Imagine what would have happened had he done the same for the 5 Huntsville shows a month prior !
